Sometimes I Have No Answers

I got asked a very interesting question by a reader the other day and it’s not often I’m left with no response but this one left me stumped.

She commented that it always seems to be the same sort of guy that complains about being “friend zoned”, the sort of guy you laugh with and have a joke with but doesn’t flirt. Whether it’s real flirting or playful joking flirting, you just get none of that from them. So how on earth are you meant to know if they’re interested?

I’ve been in this girls shoes, where years later I’ve found out I’ve missed out on a great guy because I could have sworn he wasn’t interested. Even replaying it back now there is no possible way I could have known he was interesting and since, despite contrary belief, women aren’t mind readers; how are we meant to know?

My first port of call was to Google it, but I’m pretty sure it’s answer was I’m about to die so I quickly gave up on that one.

Then I thought I’d ask a guy who like the one in the question doesn’t flirt in any shape or form however he failed to respond.

So that leaves me with plan C, to ask you lovely people to answer her question for her since I’ve failed miserably to do so. So how do you know when a non-flirty guy likes you? Let me know in the comment box below and if you have any questions you’d like to see me struggle with, leave them below as well. As always my dears, stay and play safe.

Love,

How To Move On

Recently I’ve had a lot of people messaging me asking how they can stop caring about someone. I’m not sure how qualified I am to give advice but I’ll give it a go.

Let me start by saying despite what people think I didn’t just flip a switch and was over Mr. X, I wish it was that easy. What happened is I took my heart and stubbornness out of the equation and thought about things logically.

You can’t argue with logic. Even if your heart or stubbornness is tell you otherwise once you have logic on your side those things quickly shut up and you realize you’d be a fool to do anything else but just walk away.

You’ve heard of the gray area well I call emotions the pink area and once I wrote everything out in black and white that pink area seemed to have the mental capability of a first grader. And I don’t know about you but I’m not in the habit of taking dating advice from a 6 year old.

Following a 6 year olds advice isn’t a good look for anyone and that sort of thing reflects poorly on you. Look at it like this, would you tolerate a boyfriend making you look bad? That’s what’s happening. The guy you’re chasing is making you look like a fool. He’s causing you to sell you’re short and that’s just not on. You’re above that.

And once I realised all that, I didn’t want Mr. X, I was fine. I was able to talk to him without feeling anything. It’s like my heart killed him off. As far as it was concerned he was dead, RIP. I can’t begin to tell you how amazing it feels to let go. He has no power over me anymore. I’m so much happier without the weight of his baggage holding me down.

Maybe that’s the best way to stop caring, pretend he’s dead. Look back at all the times he’s wronged you and realize he’s added a lot of pain to your life. Get mad about it and pick yourself up in the knowledge that you won’t let it happen again, you’re stronger now. Take the lessons and drop the baggage he caused. And move on with a smile on your face.

I know it’s not easy but once you do it you’ll feel so much better than you ever thought possible.

That’s my advice, or rant....Not sure which. What do you guys think, what advice would you give someone who is struggling to let go and move on?

As always stay safe, Love,

Sorry

I just wanted to say sorry to you guys. I’ve been a bad blogger over the past few weeks. Hopefully by this weekend I’ll be back to normal and back to keeping you guys entertained and laughing.

Because some of you have been asking the problem was the doctor changed my pain medication and I neglected to read the enclosed leaflet. I’ve come to find out anyone taking the pill also needs to take a multivitamin because it blocks certain vitamins. After a couple months of not getting those vitamins I’ve been feeling ill, tired and ran down.

I’m hoping by this weekend I’ll be feeling better and be able to return to my normal posting schedule. Which is one weekday post (Mon-Thurs), and one weekend post (Fri-Sun).

I also do a post every Monday for Logic Haze (http://logichaze.com/type/article/thehonbit) I’m looking at bring back “The Honest Bitch Helps” for that weekly post. It’s a lot of fun for me to write and you guys seem to enjoy it. So if you have any questions about relationships, sex, life, or whatever you’d like me to answer is my unique way send them to Ms.HonestB@gmail.com It’s all in fun and maybe it’ll help someone and ….upset a few guys :-)

Also keep your eyes open for my guest post on http://almostlastmanstanding.com/ and he’ll also being doing a guest post for here so that should be worth a read, he's a talented and funny writer. I’d tell you guys to be nice but that’s not your style I know. So I'll just tell you to be honest and have fun with him.

I’m looking look forward to getting back in to the swing of things and back to having some fun with you guys. How I’ve missed your evilness.

Love you guys,

This Needs To Be Said

This needs to be said.....

When you’re constantly breaking up and getting back together, that is NOT a relationship. That is a fuck friend who doesn’t know the rules.

Stop being so naive, he doesn’t love you, he doesn’t miss you, and he sure as hell doesn’t want to make it work, and before you say it, NO, YOUR MAN IS NOT DIFFERENT!

He’s horny. It’s simple.

Stop lying to yourself and more importantly stop making everyone hear about how he’s going to change. You my dear, are nothing but a place for him to rest his penis in.

There is nothing wrong with this per se. Fuck friends are great, but you need to be aware that’s what you are.

So stop the drama and either call a spade a spade or move on with your life. Don’t be stupid and pretend there’s something there when there clearly isn’t. It just makes you look pathetic and meek. Stop making the rest of us look bad and being a disgrace to the female race.

That’s my 2 cents and I’m sure you’ll tell me yours. Love you guys and as always stay safe.

Love,

The Honest Bitch Helps

I’m going try something new today. I get asked a lot of relationship questions so instead of answer just the person that asks I figured well I’m not getting any and blog material is limited why not try and get a blog out of it.

Here is my disclaimer, I’m not qualified in any way to give advice, listen to me at your own risk. I will give you the same advice I’d give my best friend and I will be completely honest with you. However people are idiots and things don’t anyways work out.

I will never post the email or message, I will also not post any names this way people can stay anonymous. I’ll just post the question and any important details to that question.

Question: My boyfriend and I have broken up and I want him back, what should I do?

Right now I’m willing to bet you miss the idea of him more then you actually miss him. You miss having someone there that cares about you. This is completely understandable but the answer isn’t running back to a relationship that failed.

Try spending time with your friends. You may not feel like it but do it anyways. Have a girl’s night in watch chick flicks, eat ice cream and gossip. If nothing else it’ll take your mind off things.

When you’re starting to feel better and are ready to go out. Do your makeup and hair and just look hot. If you don’t feel hot, fake it. Some of the best revenge you can have is looking good and having fun. Making him think about what he lost.

I’ve found it takes a week for every month you were together to get over a breakup so do expect a quick fix but if you can keep yourself busy and feel good about yourself, it makes it a lot easier. You guys broke up a reason, chalk it up to bad luck and try to move on.

-The Honest Bitch

I hope that helps a little. It’s the same advice I use myself and give to my friends. If you have any other question, feel free to message me and I’ll try my best to answer them. I’m heading off for the night so as always stay safe.

Love Always
