Today is my
last day of 12 wonderful, magical days off work and I’m pleased to say I’ve
done not a damn thing during that time. Hell, I think I’ve only been out of my pajamas
once. And as unproductive as it’s been, it’s felt fantastic.
My real-life
job has been so stressful lately, I thought about taking my old job back. I think my brain and body needed to veg. It
needed to reboot and restart. And mindless tasks like online shopping, playing
computer games and binge watching House is just what I needed to feel less
like I’m one moaning driver away from being arrested for attempted murder.
Despite wasting
12 days, I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat. That said, it is Black Friday
and I have some major online shopping to do before I return to the grind tomorrow
